Stadion's Story

Made in London, at human speed.

In March of 2024, in a two-bedroom Hackney flat, Stadion was started. Three of us, paying for it out of our own pockets. Friends from school, using a living room as the design studio and a bedroom as the office.

Two fashion shows came out of that flat, and taught us that runways only speak to the industry. Not to the person we pictured wearing the clothes.

We looked around and realised if you wanted something properly made you had two options. Find it second-hand, most of the time in a worn-out condition in a size that wasn't perfect. Or pay over the odds for the label on the clothes rather than the craftsmanship that went into making them. So we built the third option.

We design, develop and manufacture everything in England. Each garment is made to order, so nothing is held in stock or restocked, with the vision of creating beautiful clothing without destroying the planet in the process.

Stadion is self-funded. All of us have worked full-time jobs since we started the brand, and that is what pays for the cloth.

Questions

How does it fit?

Cut without gender definition. Each page lists the model's height and the size they are wearing, and the size guide above gives the finished measurements of every size. Inside the size guide there is also a How to measure section, showing exactly where each measurement is taken, so you can check a piece you already own against it. If you're between sizes, email us and we'll tell you which way to go.

What if it doesn't fit?

Every piece is cut once you order it, in the size you choose, so we can't take a piece back because it doesn't fit. The size guide on each page gives the finished measurements to the centimetre. Lay a piece you already own flat and compare. If you're between sizes, email us before you order and we'll tell you which way to go. If a piece arrives with a production fault or looks significantly different from the photos, we'll put it right. Full details are in our returns and refunds policy.

When will I receive it?

Made to order pieces are made after you order them and reach you 2 to 4 weeks from your order date. You'll hear from us at each stage.

Can I speak to someone before I order?

Yes. Email u@stadionclo.com and David, one of the co-founders, will reply. He reads everything that comes in.
